  • Fleuve-Montagne Promenade: The 3.8 km (2.6 mile) urban trail connects the St Lawrence River to the foot of Mont-Royal showcasing Montréal’s culture, history, heritage and landscapes.

  • La Grande Roue (The Observation Wheel): At 60 meters in height (20 stories high) this new instillation will offer year round panoramic views of the city and surrounding areas.

  • Lighting of the Jacques Cartier Bridge: The Jacques Cartier Bridge comes to life nightly capturing the pulse of Montréal in real time, reflecting its energy, social media conversations and mood (#illuminationMtl). The luminous movements are a tribute to the days hottest media topics.

  • Christmas Markets and Holiday Season Events: During the Christmas market season, the arteries of our beautiful city are transformed into ephemeral markets where white lights, mulled wine and especially, local products are offered to holiday shoppers.

  • Cirque du Soleil on Ice: Watch world-class ice skaters and acrobats claim their new frozen playground with speed and fluidity as they challenge the laws of gravity with never-before-seen acrobatics. A new kind of performance as Cirque du Soleil meets the ice to defy all expectations.

  • Cité Mémoire, Montreal en History: Montreal’s unique evolution is brought to life through a host of video’s projected on walls and buildings at dusk.
  • La Fête des Neiges de Montréal au Parc Jean-Drapeau: This popular family-oriented winter event has a program geared toward enjoying the outdoors, with a wide array of free and pay activities.

  • Montréal en Lumière: Discover the city's winter warmth. Through its bold and original programming and free activities, the event makes us discover a festive and sporty city, rich in culture, history and gastronomy, and invites everyone to take back winter!

  • Dômesicle: A series of electronic music nights with the best DJs Montreal has to offer. La SAT will be hosting every night at their spot on St-Laurent, from January 9 – February 20, 2018.

  • Art Souterrain: A 7 kilometer artistic journey through the heart of Montreal’s underground passageways. During the festival, visitors can participate in a variety of activities including workshops, lectures and artistic performances. The exhibitions run from the end of February to mid-March.

  • Rogers Cup Montreal (August 4 – 14, 2017): Tennis' biggest stars come together to battle for the Rogers Cup. The festival-like atmosphere, including dining, shopping, entertainment and activities, provides excitement for both avid and casual tennis fans.

  • FIA Formula E (July 29 – 30, 2017): The FIA Formula E is coming to Canada for the first time. Montréal is joining other international cities including Hong Kong, Paris, Berlin and New York City to host the Electric Street Racing Series.

  • Montreal Impact (Until October 22, 2017): Watch Montreal's professional soccer team compete against other top teams and stars across MLS all season long at Saputo Stadium.

  • Montreal Alouettes Training Camp (Until November 26, 2017): Come out to Training Camp to watch Montreal's professional football team prepare for the upcoming season. The home opener is on June 22 at Percival-Molson Stadium against the Roughriders de Saskatchewan.
